History: Born in the west to a Sage, Ahvain learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Godfrey is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Godfrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Godfrey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the west. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Elegant learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
