Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Berrian hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Fallthra was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
