History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Oppleby alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Laborer.
