Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chay embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a Masseuse, his father struggled to pay the bills. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Apothecary. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
