Description: He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Howard embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Unemployed but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears rags and sports a simple walking cane and is in decent physical shape. She keeps her silver hair in a flapper bob. Her gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Being a Bricklayer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Theirastra's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theirastra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theirastra was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: He wears an entirely red suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is physically well-built. He has blonde hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nelkin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is content.
