Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and balancing his hectic life and new laborer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Adventurer. She tends to her Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
