History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and a deep hatred of brigands
