Barendd Goldfinder, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has moderate length chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Agnes Blyth, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She is a pot bellied western woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her whip with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she's repulsed by the pc
