History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
