History: Katherine was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Katherine alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Katherine never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by her family; and many goblins want her driven away

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He is in excellent shape and tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has moderate length red hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Whurbin embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Whurbin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). After a long history of fighting, Whurbin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Mreksh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mreksh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Mreksh was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
