Personality: Shifting speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shifting is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shifting took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: An older woman who wears a robe, a symbol of death around her neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on her belt, she is not a threatening figure. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great joy in being the best Cartwright in town.

History: She was born in a small plains village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She tends to her Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a mace, but if one is not available she will default to her pickaxe. She has wavy red hair. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vaina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Vaina was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Vaina was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
