History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
