History: Akmen hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: He stands about 5'4" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in ceremonial dagger use. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Clerebold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

Description: This light-skinned male is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Galinndan embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Galinndan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To be a Weaver again; and wants a kiss
