Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He got into the Apothecary business at a young age. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Apothecary responsibilities is difficult; and to be a body guard again

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Merla was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
