History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Corkitron will drive conversation. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. During his travels, Corkitron and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Corkitron discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Corkitron fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
