History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mantus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has worked as a Assassin like his mother before him.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born into a rich family. At some point she was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
