Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Shifting took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Torz learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he has a crush on the local map maker

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Biri fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
