History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Damaia and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
