Personality: Barbena is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Barbena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Barbena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with her Seamstress mother left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Seamstress again.

Description: Standing 4'9", this man wears a simple violet robe with blue stripes complete with hood. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears blue painted combat armor at almost all times. Her black hair is heavily combed to the right. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her small blue hat.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Sage arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
