History: Born in the west to a Slave Trader, Spring learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Doctor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Gynnie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Ploughman soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new ploughman responsibilities is difficult
