Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Katherine is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has achieved small success as a Laborer.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Morkral's homeland. Morkral decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bune was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
