History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Portia liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She bought a bow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
