History: She comes from a rich western family. Hatae liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now owns her own business.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Being a Mayor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and many brigands want her driven away

History: Nyx was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
