Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Barendd's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Barendd was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with her god.

History: The child of a Courier, who enjoyed hunting, Shadow was taken on many hunting expeditions. Shadow was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Spy. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
