History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Now she works as a dancing tutor during her time off.
