History: Born in the east to a Adventurer, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to share knowledge with the world

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She now owns her own business.
