History: Born in the south to a Guard, Kite learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Juliana is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
