History: Adrie lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Adrie alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nithther took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Greethen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
