History: He was born in a small island village. Theriatis was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Brewer. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: Griselda speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
