History: Oriel hails from a village terrorized by giants. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Quillathe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
