Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears dull violet sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed flail, just in case. His red hair is thinning but still full. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Farmer father left him crippled. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Description: The dark-skinned woman stands 4'2" and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Slave Trader business.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Balifra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is baby faced.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Dworic is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Dworic lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and a rival would like him out of the picture
