When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

This search led him directly into Fletcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Fletcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fletcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fletcher responsibilities is difficult.
