History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Knight, but he was a colossal failure. He has achieved small success as a Animal Trainer.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Pijjirik hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Pijjirik never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Modean does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
