History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Mason job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born in the south to a Herbalist, Jade learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Marshal, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
