Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His copper crest is knotted and matted. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Torinn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Torinn. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is short and silver. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Veloptima's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. His fur is black and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 93. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Shadow enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to unite with his sister
