History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thamuz was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Now she works as a poetry tutor during her time off.
