In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
