History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality
