He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His tied-back hair is silver. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Gifted from a young age, Efferil studied abroad. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roondar embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length brass crest. Her gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kava was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
