History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears long strands of sapphire and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Mûglûk was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mûglûk decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a blue coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon her head. She has shaved her head bald. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quillathe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quillathe. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
