History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Werydd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in morningstar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. A true patriot, Lone would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
