History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Dilettante, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Orryn never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Description: She dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a blue coat with green slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'4" when asserting herself. Her red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her red eyes peer out from beneath her feathered black hat.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jo is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
