Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Faran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
