Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Arannis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This northern man is typically in his Interpreter uniform. His clothes are grease stained in places. His brown hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
