History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has worked as a Miller like her mother before her.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Morana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Morana. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mozû has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
