Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears an entirely violet suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and human compassion

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Purban embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and money/treasure

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a long, tan cloak. His auburn hair is still thick. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Glim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to settle down with his crush
