Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Melissa isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. Melissa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Mortician.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
