History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
