History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barakas grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Barakas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Kithri isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He takes great joy in being the best Healer in town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and balancing his hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult
