History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gorbundus was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second daughter.
